Daisy has a background in early child education, holds certifications in human services and child advocacy, and has a strong passion for serving families in the Buffalo area. Daisy attended SUNY Buffalo State University for her bachelor’s degree in social work where she was active in the colleges Child Advocacy Organization, Phi Alpha Social Work Honor Society, and the Undergraduate Research Fellowship where she was recognized for her research in School Responses to Teen Dating Violence in Erie and Niagara Counties. Daisy attended the State University of New York at Buffalo for her master’s degree in social work where she was active in the Rho Kappa Social Work Honor Society. Daisy gained valuable experience during her internships at Preventionfocus Inc. managing social and emotional programs for youth aged five through thirteen in Erie County schools, and at Legal Aid Attorneys for Children Unit providing care management and advocacy services to children zero through sixteen in the Erie County juvenile justice system. In 2023, Daisy was awarded intern of the year by Buffalo State University and the National Association of Social Workers.
