Collaborative Care Model

Melissa is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who earned her Bachelor’s degree in Health and Human Services with a concentration in Early Childhood in 2021 and her Master of Social Work in 2023, both from the University at Buffalo. Through her internships with the Niagara Falls and Tonawanda City School Districts, she gained valuable experience supporting students’ emotional and behavioral well-being. She later worked as a School Social Worker at Tonawanda Middle School, providing support to students with disabilities to promote their social and emotional development.

As the Collaborative Care Case Manager at Delaware Pediatrics, Melissa is passionate about helping children and adolescents build confidence and cope effectively with everyday challenges. She combines approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Behavioral Activation, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to provide care that is individualized and goal-oriented.
