Joyce Zmuda, MD
Dr. Joyce Zmuda joined Delaware Pediatrics in 2013. She attended medical school at The State University of New York at Buffalo and went on to complete a pediatric residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Dr. Zmuda practiced general pediatrics in Maryland for 7 years before returning to Buffalo with her family.
Dr. Zmuda has a strong interest in population health and value-based care, both focused on achieving the best health outcomes for our community. At Delaware Pediatrics, Dr. Zmuda works closely with the care coordination teams, ensuring that we provide the most comprehensive care to our patients and their families. She is also the Delaware Pediatrics physician lead for two projects that focus on the integration of behavioral healthcare services into the primary care setting.
Dr. Zmuda is the mother of twin daughters and the wife of Dr. Anthony Caterina. She is an avid animal lover and currently shares her home with 3 dogs, 2 of whom are rescues. In her free time, she can be found spending time with her family and walking dogs at the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter.
