Delaware Pediatrics follows the recommended vaccination schedule by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).

In the last decade, childhood vaccines have come under significant scrutiny. While the concerns about vaccines have been disproved or discredited, there is still a tremendous amount of misinformation reported about vaccines. This can be concerning and confusing to parents and has resulted in a decline in vaccination rates and a resurgence of some vaccine-preventable diseases such as measles and whooping cough.

We at Delaware Pediatrics, follow the recommended schedule for childhood vaccines. We do not delay or “break up the vaccines” to give one or two at a time or give over two or more visits. This goes against expert recommendations as well as our medical advice at Delaware Pediatrics. This can put your child at risk for serious illness (or even death).
